Job Proposal: Event Coordinator for the Fysh Foundation
The Fysh Foundation is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. As the Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and executing events that align with our mission of promoting mental health and wellness through fishing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute fundraising events, community outreach events, and fishing trips for individuals and groups
- Collaborate with other members of the Fysh Foundation team to ensure events align with our mission and goals
- Identify and secure sponsorships, partnerships, and donations to support events
- Manage event budgets and track expenses
- Recruit and manage volunteers to support events
- Ensure events run smoothly and attendees have a positive experience
- Evaluate event success and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an event coordinator, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with event planning software and tools
- Passion for promoting mental health and wellness through fishing
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
